To calculate how much time you will require for your event, use the chart below as a guide. Keep in mind the industry standard for time  for one face painter is 10 - 12  faces per hour.

24 faces........................... 2 hours      48 faces.............................. 2 hours

36 faces............................3 hours      72 faces.............................. 3 hours

Multiply the number of guests times five to get your total number of minutes needed and round up to the nearest hour.

Keep in mind that if you have young boys or teenage guests, they often ask for super heroes or more elaborate face painting.

For example, a Star Wars party theme; guests will ask for Darth Vader or other very detailed characters. These

details take much longer. Count on 6 - 10 minutes per face.

Face painters will need a shaded, sheltered area on level ground if working outdoors. A power source will be necessary if it is dark. Also, plan for  an indoor space in case of rain.
